Magicariums Scriptæ
Stories of Magic, Memory, and the Worlds Between
Where Imagination Becomes a World
Magicariums is a fantasy universe built around a simple idea:
What if magic was never gone? What if we simply forgot how to see it?
Across novels, histories, characters, places, artifacts, creatures, and centuries of hidden lore, Magicariums explores a world in which memory is more than recollection. It can preserve truth. It can shape identity. It can survive those who try to erase it.
And sometimes, it can open doors.
Two Worlds. One Forgotten History.
Long ago, Earth and the magical realms of Magicia were connected.
They exchanged knowledge, stories, discoveries, and dreams. Magic shaped what humanity imagined, while human creativity gave form to things magic alone could never create.
Then came the Severance.
The worlds were divided. Their shared history faded into legend. On Earth, magic became folklore. In Magicia, the memory of Earth was slowly buried beneath doctrine, fear, and rewritten history.
A thousand years later, the separation remains.
But forgotten things have a way of leaving traces.
An old key hidden where no one thought to look. A fragment of glass that remembers what it has seen. A tapestry whose threads move without wind. A building that seems to know more than the people living inside it.
And a boy with no memory of his earliest years, standing unknowingly at the center of a history far older than himself.
The Magicariums Scriptae
At the heart of the universe lies the Magicariums Scriptae, an ancient body of history, doctrine, prophecy, and memory from a time when the worlds were still connected.
Much of it has been lost.
Some of it was destroyed.
Some was deliberately forgotten.
What remains survives in fragments: in artifacts, forbidden records, whispered traditions, ancient places, and the lives of people who may not yet understand what they carry.
The stories of Magicariums unfold through those fragments.
Not every account agrees.
Not every truth has survived intact.
And not everyone who tells history can be trusted.
A World Built to Be Explored
Magicariums extends beyond the pages of a single novel.
This site is a living companion to the universe: a place to explore its people, magic, creatures, flora, places, artifacts, histories, doctrines, and the connections between them.
Some records reveal information already encountered in the stories. Others deepen the world beyond what could fit naturally onto the page.
As the universe grows, so will the archive.
New stories will reveal new histories. Familiar events may acquire different meanings. Characters who once seemed peripheral may prove essential. Places may remember things their inhabitants have forgotten.
Because in Magicariums, history is never merely background.
It is part of the story.
Imaginatio ad Veritatem
Imagination toward Truth.
Magicariums is fantasy, but its deepest questions are human ones.
How much of who we are depends upon what we remember?
What happens when those in power are allowed to decide which version of the past survives?
Can something remain true after everyone has forgotten it?
And if we discover that the story we inherited was wrong, do we have the courage to become someone different?
Magicariums does not imagine magic as an escape from reality.
It imagines magic as another way of looking at it.
Some worlds are discovered. Others are remembered.
Welcome to Magicariums.
