Medium, birdlike creatures with elongated bodies and feathers that refract light like glass shards — reflecting not only images but fleeting fragments of memory. A circle of them wheeling overhead often heralds a magical disturbance, as though they were drawn to the cracks in things. To see a memory you had forgotten glint, for an instant, in a passing flock is unsettling and beautiful in equal measure. They harm no one. They only show you, briefly, what the air around you is quietly remembering.
