Biography
Edmund Thorne holds the Accord's security portfolio, and holds it like a man who has decided that order is the only mercy worth defending.
It is Thorne who argues for the Inquisition's wider powers, who frames every concession to conscience as a crack in the dam. He is not cruel by temperament — he is something more durable: convinced.
